Analysis of squid fishing
Squid, also known as squid and squid, is a valuable seafood with high nutritional value. It has basically the same nutritional function as soft brachiopod seafood such as cuttlefish and octopus. It is a food rich in protein, calcium, phosphorus and iron, and rich in trace elements such as selenium, iodine, manganese and copper. Squid is also one of the two main species of Pelagic Fisheries in China. Squid is not only a delicious food loved by consumers, but also a good raw material for aquatic products processing.
From the perspective of squid fishing output in South America, squid resources in Argentine fishing ground fluctuate from year to year, and the range is very large; Peru's fishery resources are relatively stable with little change, but the economic benefits are poor. In 2014, Argentina had a good squid harvest. Affected by this, the squid fishing output of China's pelagic fishery increased significantly. The output of that year was 878500 tons, a year-on-year increase of 105.7%.
In 2016, Argentina's squid catch grew slowly. China's ocean squid hook fishing vessels went to the Atlantic Ocean to catch, but the catch was not as good as expected; Affected by this, the squid fishing output of China's pelagic fishery was 447100 tons, down 49.1% from 2014.
From 2017 to 2019, the squid fishing output of China's pelagic fishery increased first and then decreased. In 2019, the squid fishing output of pelagic fishery was 432800 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 24.6%.
